The feature he was looking for is called Sidebar video and it’s shown in the image below. He had heard such a thing was possible but had been unable to find the feature. He wanted to insert a video, but instead of adding the video to the slide, he wanted it to appear to the left of the slide, above the Table of Contents. I received an email recently from a new Presenter developer. Once videos have been added to a PowerPoint slide, they can be manipulated just like any other PowerPoint object. Inserting and editing video in Adobe Presenter is as easy as accessing the Adobe Presenter tab on the Ribbon and then clicking the Video tool. The post Installing Adobe Presenter 11.1.5 appeared first on eLearning.
My first post-installation test was to update and overwrite a previously published project locally to a zip it worked flawlessly as expected: The installation is fast I did not uninstall Adobe Presenter version 11.1 prior to installing 11.1.5, I simply installed over it as a local administrator and it updated the earlier installed 11.1 version without issues: Note that the full installer splash screen includes Adobe Media Encoder (AME) since I already have AME commensurate with my Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, I have unchecked the block invoking its reinstalltion: If you are uncertain that you have the correct installer, simply open the extracted installer directory and look at the version in the Products folder: While the download site at the time of my writing this blog article reads Adobe Presenter 11.1, it is actually version 11.1.5.
To see a list of the fixes in Adobe Presenter 11.1.5, see the following article: You will note that the download link in the article sited points to the Adobe Presenter trial download accessible after logging in with your Adobe ID. The size of the download is approximately 2GB.
It is very easy to install and a new serial key is not required for current licensed users of 11.1 it is also a full installer for new users. There are some important bug fixes in Adobe Presenter 11.1.5.
